The Glees bouldering area in Wassenach, Germany, is known for its excellent climbing on compact basalt rock formations. This bouldering area, active since the 1980s, boasts over 700 problems that range from beginner to advanced levels, making it one of the most diverse climbing locales in the Eifel region. The climbing is technical, with many routes featuring crimps and columns that challenge both strength and technique.

Climbing conditions are best during the drier months outside of the rainy season when the rocks and paths are less slippery. Climbers are encouraged to adhere to local access agreements to minimize environmental impact and maintain good relations with landowners and the community.
