Valdemanco, located in the Sierra Norte region of Madrid, is a quieter bouldering spot known for its scenic landscapes and quality granite boulders with a gritty texture. The main bouldering sectors here include El Vaquerizo, La Nuez, and Las Antenas. Each sector is distinctive, offering a variety of climbing challenges that range from 2 to 5 meters in height, with diverse holds, including slopers and crimps. La Nuez, one of the most recognized spots, has a large split boulder with about 16 lines, making it an iconic formation in the area. Access is straightforward, though climbers should be prepared for a short walk from designated parking spots.

Valdemanco's granite formations feature unique shapes and textures that suit technical, strength-based climbing. The exposed granite surfaces are best tackled with good footwork and body positioning, while the area's altitude and open surroundings make it an appealing choice for climbers looking for both challenging problems and beautiful, rustic views. Accommodations are limited but available in nearby towns, while bivouacs are sometimes made under La Nuez. Climbers should remain respectful of the private lands that some sectors cross, ensuring the area’s continued access and preservation.
